Ophelia is the 10th straight Atlantic named storm to become a hurricane.
Hurricane Ophelia has strengthened into a Category 2 and remains no threat to the United States, but could potentially brush parts of the Azores this weekend. Ophelia may then bring a blast of strong winds early next week to Ireland and perhaps the United Kingdom as a powerful post-tropical low-pressure system. Read this story in it’s full entirety.
