Can we expect Hurricane season to wind down? Maybe, but not so fast.

About this time of year it always seems that hurricane season is winding down. With hurricane Maria and hurricane Lee drifting off to the East and away from landfall, there’s really not much else we need to be worried about in these coming days and weeks.
It’s been recorded that Maria was the most dangerous weather phenomenon on the planet. However it has weakened to a tropical storm and now moving out east in the Atlantic. Where we need to be concerned as the focal point would be the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.  About this time of year these locatios become areas of concern. And this is exactly what we are noticing at this point. You’ll notice on the graph below from weather satellite footage what is developing. This stems from the exceptionally warm weather in the Caribbean right now and Autumn storms tend to form because of it. It is a recipe that likely has the potential to become extremely intense.
